December 31
Goofy selfie while sitting in the dentist chair with my stylish protective eyewear and my lovely paper bib, attempting to smile with a half-numbed mouth
The dentist told me yesterday when I had my teeth cleaned that I had a crown that needed replacing.
So here I was today having a crown replaced. I was amazed they could get me in so soon. I was dreading it because been there done that more times than I care to remember. This turned out to be the easiest crown I've ever had done because the technology has dramatically changed since my last one almost ten years ago. They made the new tooth right there on the spot. It was a two hour appointment but well worth the time, since I don't have to go back. And best of all, I slid in just under the wire on the last day of the year so insurance paid for it. Yay me!

Made it home from the dentist in time to catch the 2:30 Star Wars Rise of Skywalker movie

The popcorn was actually very good this time (sometimes it isn't)
After thirty minutes of previews, Neil and I had already scarfed up half the bucket.
We enjoyed the movie and were satisfied with how the saga was wrapped up at the end.
I'm still partial to the original trilogy.

The Kimbroughs invited us to dinner at Olive Garden where they already had a table for us all, so we headed straight there right after the movie and enjoyed a nice dinner. Thanks again for the invitation, Kerry, Kelly, Knox, and Ella, who was excited about her spaghetti. Score!

May the Force be with you as we cross the finish line of 2019 and start all over again in 2020!
Thanks to everyone who joined me right here this year!
Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!

How did it get so late so soon? It's night before it's afternoon. December is here before it's June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?
