Went for a walk around the neighborhood ~ I was walking backwards taking this picture as they watch me almost back into a parked car ~ at least they were kind enough to give me fair warning
Maybe we walked off a few calories ... maybe ....
Kelly and Kerry ~ our turkey day hosts with the mosts
Neil snapped this selfie

We rewarded our effort to burn some calories by pigging out on pies when we got back ~ Shelby made this yummy Reese's Peanut Butter pie
Jane made a pumpkin pie using Don's mom's recipe, Don made whipped cream from scratch, and Kelly made a chocolate fudge pie using Kerry's mom's recipe ~ to die for good
Jerry killed the deer and he and Holly made the jerky ~ yum!

Thanksgiving Peeps
Sister Ann and hubby Terry joined us after a dinner at Terry's mom and dad's home ~ thanks for the sister pic, Kelly!
After pie, it was back outside for an energetic game of kickball ~ they played until it got too dark to see
A fun game of Apples To Apples rounded out the day
We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving together.
We thank God for blessings too numerous to count.
Good food, fun, and family.

Our daughter Kelly turned 40 today
40 looks great on her!

Celebrating with family

Instead of the traditional birthday cake, Kelly chose pies~~delicious chocolate and coconut cream made from scratch from a local restaurant that knows how to do desserts. Also had a cookie cake for the non-pie party people. So good!
Lots of flat presents which usually include some cash
And a lot of haha you're 40 cards
Her sister Holly and family gave her this awesome 31 tote with some birthday goodies inside
Turning 40 wasn't all that bad, was it?
Happy Birthday, Kelly!
Wishing you all the best things in the year to come and hope all your 40th birthday wishes comes true!
We love you so much!!
