This is probably my favorite picture of me and my dad. He passed away March 18, 1999. He was so quiet and mostly patient and I’ll always love him for being the spiritual man he was all his life which still has a huge impact on my life now. Thanks, Pop! Love you and miss you!

Grandson Knox has been away for the past week out of town with his mom and dad, and we’ve missed having him around. They came home this afternoon. We enjoyed supper at Cracker Barrel where Knox and Grandpa played checkers after we ate. I think he’s grown since we saw him last week. Kids do that, especially when you’re not looking. Happy TGIF, everyone!
