Cold hands warm heart.

January 2 ~ This is how an engineer hangs pictures on the wall. I just eyeball it.
January 4 ~ grandson Knox wearing the Steak n Shake hat - sideways
Wish I had one of these right about now
January 5 ~ Swim meet ~ granddaughter Shelby in the backstroke competition - her least favorite stroke - she did well
She's a senior so this is her last year with the high school swim team ~ she's really enjoyed it in spite of those 5AM practices
We've enjoyed watching her swim and compete these past four years
January 6 ~ hanging out with daughter Kelly, granddaughter Ella, and grandson Knox at Poet's coffeehouse on the square
January 6 ~ This is one of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen ~ impossible to capture the awesomeness of it with a cell phone camera
January 6 ~ Hearts on display in a shop window next to Poet's
January 9 ~ Shelby after school ~ there's always homework
January 10 ~ Three guys and some ice cream ~ Neil and grandsons Elijah and Knox at the Lazy Cow Creamery
January 14 ~ granddaughter Ella is 4 months old
January 19 ~ The rains came down and the floods came up ~ it's been soggy here in our neck of the woods these past six months ~ just when you think it's never going to stop ....
.... we're reminded that there is blue sky behind those clouds ~ the sun never looked so good even if it was on its way down
January 20 ~ my grainy cell phone camera shot of the super blood wolf moon before the total eclipse ~ seems every time we have one of these celestial events our sky is cloudy ~ we did catch glimpses of it between the fast moving clouds and stood on the deck in the freezing cold watching it turn red
January 24 ~ Ella's daddy took this picture of her sitting up in her chair ~ she'll be crawling around all too soon
January 27 ~ Daughter Holly and her hubby Jerry celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary today
Nice looking family, aren't they?
January 29 ~ Snow! It was pretty while it lasted ~ kids were out of school mainly because of the frigid temperatures
I hope you are warm where you are!
