Knox with his friend AJ ready to run Cougar Run
which is their school's fundraiser for the year
Sniffing rocks and supporting her brother Knox
for Cougar Run
"Mmmm...smells good!"
The run was totally different this year because
of the virus, so no one was allowed to come and watch.
We did stand at a distance so Kelly could snap some pics
Only one class ran at a time, and for only half
the time they usually run which means not as many laps
It was a sad sight to behold this year
But the teachers took lots of pictures and posted them
on social media for their parents and grandparents
to see and save
Knox ran nine laps in the short time allotted
They got to have Cougar Run so it's all good

“There is a time in late September when the leaves are still green, and the days are still warm, but somehow you know that it is all about to end, as if summer was holding its breath, and when it let it out again, it would be autumn.” ―Sharyn McCrumb

Ah, September! You are the doorway to the season that awakens my soul.
